Farm Service Technician

McKeown Motor Sales of Springbrook, ON is seeking a Tractor Service Technician. The Tractor Service Technician will be responsible for inspecting and repairing farm equipment and reporting progress to the Service Manager. Experience with Massey Ferguson and other farm equipment preferred.

Requirements
5 Years of Tractor Mechanic experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have:
Ontario driver's license with a clean abstract
Ability to maintain a valid passport
Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and able to bend, squat, crouch, reach as job requires
Knowledge and use of power, machine and hand tools
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail

Responsibilities
Perform work specified from repair order efficiently and in accordance with the dealership procedures
Test equipment, test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain and repair farm equipment including gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Assemble new farm equipment, inspect farm machinery, including balers, planters and hydraulics
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs
Communicate directly and clearly with the Service Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional services and/or repairs are needed
Respect fellow co-workers, customers and shop equipment
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Comply with the health and safety policies in the workplace
Other duties as required
